4th of July Bar-B-Que

Come join us for our July 4th Bar-B-Que!  We will be serving Hamburgers, HotDogs and a bunch of other stuff.  Set up will be @ 1:00pm and we will start serving @ 2:00pm.  Meet us in the parking lot behind Church in the City  @ 16th and Gaylord.  We could also use some help with the funds for this event.

We hand out Sack Lunches, Coffee and Bottled Water.  We also give out Care Kits.  Each care kit contains Socks, Toothpaste, a Toothbrush, a Bar of Soap, a Washcloth, a Rasor, a Power Bar and a Gospel booklet..

We could always use more volunteers.  Technically we could get the food out with two or three people but the intent is not to just hand out food.  It is to sit with them, share a cup of coffee and to listen to them.  We are here not just to fill their stomachs but to fill their hearts with the loving grace of Jesus our messiah.

We are here to love the un-loveable, to touch the un-touchable and to be the hands and heart of Chrise extended.  Wouild you join us?

We are helping out with the Wednesday evening meal for the homeless.  A hot meal is served for about 160 of Denver's homeless every Wednesday.  We hang out with the homeless and share Gods love.
