"In the Shadow of The Cross" . . .

MORNING MANNA

Picture
Did you know there are thousands of homeless people in the Denver area? We are not just talking about men on the streets, but women, children and families as well. Some of these women are single with children. Could you imagine having to pack up your children, and go to live under a bridge?

Morning Manna is our food ministry to the homeless. We take meals to the homeless. Each meal consist of a Sandwich, Fruit and Granola Bar. We also serve coffee, bottled water and Juice. It is not our place to judge why these people are on the streets. God has told us to feed them.  It's our desire that not one of those men, women and children have to go hungry.

Morning Manna strives to reach a larger percentage of Denver's homeless population. Before we can win these people to Christ we have to win their trust. As we continue to reach out and feed these men, women and children, we hope to build friendships and lead many of these people to the Lord and to a hope for a better future.

Right now the most important thing we need is your prayer, both for our guidance, and for our wisdom. We also need your financial support. This is your opportunity to help bring Christ to the homeless in a tangible way.

Over the past eighteen years we have seen several people saved as a result of your prayer and support of this ministry. We have watched as families without hope, would sit and open a small sack lunch, looking in to find not only good nutritional food, but also your unconditional love. And it's through that love that they can and do find the hope and courage to climb back upon the ladder from which they have fallen. We have watched as men have found the courage to face their challenges without the alcohol that they have learned to live with for so long. All of this hope, courage, and love they found, in a little brown paper bag with Morning Manna stamped on the side of it. Your compassion is changing lives.

We know most of you, because of schedules and other commitments, can't come out to the streets to help with the hands on part of the ministry. But your prayers and monthly support are just as important. We know that without your prayers and financial support, there wouldn't be a Cross & Clef Ministries.
"Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness"
